Hardcore!

Why does it always have to be hardcore? After the brutalities of Mount Mitchell on Saturday you would have thought I would have knew better?
But me and Adam Dettmers decided we wanted to try a few of the Conserving Carolina’s white squirrel challenges hikes.

Yesterday we picked wildcat rock overlook in Gerton NC. We had a blast but it was definitely a challenging hike! From playing Tarzan swinging on grape vines,

to channeling my inner labrador Retriever by wallowing in the first hole in the creek I could fit in.

We found caves and climbed rocks, sweated and cussed the 90 degree heat. But it was a great adventure and I am ready for the next one.
