We had a Great time out and about exploring upstate SC yesterday. Made it to the great city of Wahallah where we explored an abandoned railroad tunnel. The Stumphouse tunnel. Started in 1850 they run out of money to finish in 1859.
Clemson university ran a blue cheese making operation in it for awhile.
A cool escape on a hot summers day!

The park we found the tunnel in was very nice also

Same park different parking lot Issaqueena falls. Very short hike to a viewing platform. Very rugged hike to go past the viewing platform to the bottom of the falls. The reward, the best shower ever.

We found an amazing swimming hole off of highway 11 in SC

Long Shoals Roadside Park

Stopped by a convenience store and found this cool hand carved wood spirit carved into a pine knot
