This week our photography group challenged us with street photography. Candid photos of strangers. This project pushed me out of my comfort zone but in the end, I enjoyed it. I have gone into the city many times to photograph it, well the architecture, the food, the art. I believe in the past I looked over what makes the city The people! Yesterday’s goal was the people.
At first, I was nervous trying to stay way back and sneak a picture. Soon I discovered I enjoyed being much closer. Making eye contact and a thankful nod after the photo. Even ended up speaking with a few people afterward. Their encouragement made it even more rewarding! All in all a wonderful project. Thanks to the ” Making photography fun with projects” group for pushing me to try new things!
