A lot of us desire to live an enchanted life, a magical life, a mindful life but often we are so busy trying to create this life that we do not notice we already have it! We just have to be on the lookout for it. It does not always show itself that well.   lt sometimes lurks in the background camouflaged like a small flower amongst the burnt ashes of a forest fire.  Sometimes it is as large and beautiful as this sunrise. but often we still do not see it because we are in such a hurry to get something else done it is reduced to only being a glare that is making it hard to see while driving.  You are already late for work. But often pulling over for a second taking in the beautiful scene unfolding before your eyes can often be the turning point for your day.

“You must live in the present, launch yourself on every wave, find your eternity in each moment. Fools stand on their island of opportunities and look toward another land. There is no other land; there is no other life but this.”

― Henry David Thoreau

The day just got better

Today I had to get up before sunrise on a Sunday, to go to work, not so great. But when you walk out the door and see this you feel better about life!

The sky is on fire

Sometimes you must make time for the small pleasures

I kept wanting to pull over on the way to work, resisted for the most part. I did stop a few times for a quick photo. This restaurant looked even better from the road I did take the time to stop and get a few shots. I wish I would have had more time to explore this shot. I love sunrises, they remind me I have another chance to live a wonderful enchanted life!

Life gives you plenty of time to do whatever you want to do if you stay in the present moment

Deepak Chopra

Stay well my friends, take time to be present for the magic in your lives!
