I was working on making my bucket list for the winter season and thinking about what I wish to accomplish. I need a theme, romance I thought, I WANT MORE ROMANCE! I looked up the definition of romance and what it meant. I found this definition that seems to be exactly what I was looking for. A quality or feeling of mystery, excitement, and remoteness from everyday life. I have been seeking adventure but turns out I may desire romance more than adventure. When I looked up adventure, I found this definition an unusual and exciting, typically hazardous, experience or activity. I do not necessarily need the hazardous part so much anymore … So, more romance! Even the term romantic fits my outlook defined as. Of, characterized by, or suggestive of an idealized view of reality.Looking back on this year I have had many romantic moments from mixed drinks on Black Balsam during a full moon to picnics in a fire tower at sunset. To warm summer nights filled with billions of stars or just reclining in a hammock beside a river with a good book.Romance means lighting a candle to eat tuna sandwiches, It means taking the good china out on a picnic, It means blowing bubbles on top of a mountain, It means taking time, It means inviting friends I am looking forward to a romantic winter season and a bucket list to inspire my romantic moments. This list will be closing out 2020 which on a personal level has been pretty dammed amazing! Not a typical year for sure but they say that being uncomfortable forces growth. In that case we have all grew this year!I have missed a lot of things this year but gained far more. I have had to follow the crowd less and look inward to find a more defined path to follow. I have been a around far fewer people but have built stronger relationships because of this.I still have a few things on my fall bucket list but I have had a great time checking things off the list. My winter list is just starting but hold lots of promise. What is on your romantic winter bucket list?
